Terms of Service

Last updated: June 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using Routr (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Routr provides email forwarding for custom domains. Emails sent to addresses on your domain are forwarded to an inbox you designate. The Service is powered by ImprovMX and is intended for legitimate personal and business use.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract to use the Service. By using Routr you represent that you meet these requirements.

4. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

5. Domain Ownership

You represent that you own or have the right to configure DNS for any domain you register with Routr. We do not sell or transfer domain names. You are solely responsible for maintaining your domain registration.

6. Acceptable Use

You may not use the Service to send or receive spam, phishing emails, malware, or any content that violates applicable law. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate this policy without refund.

7. Billing and Subscriptions

Routr charges a recurring subscription fee. You may cancel at any time through your account settings; your service continues until the end of the current billing period. Upon cancellation, email forwarding for your domain will stop at the end of the billing period and any emails sent to your domain thereafter may not be delivered. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days’ notice.

8. Refund Policy

If Routr email forwarding does not function as described and we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable timeframe, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase. Refund requests must be submitted to support@routr.email with a description of the issue. Refunds are issued at our discretion, are limited to first-time purchases, and will not be granted for accounts terminated due to acceptable use violations. Annual plans are non-refundable after 30 days from the date of purchase.

10. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Routr is not liable for losses caused by downtime, DNS propagation delays, or third-party infrastructure failures (including ImprovMX or your domain registrar).

11. Termination

Either party may terminate the relationship at any time. Upon cancellation or termination, email forwarding for your domain will stop. You retain ownership of your domain name — it is registered with a third-party registrar and is not affected by termination of your Routr account.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Routr’s total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. We will notify you by email or via the Service. Continued use after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance.
